(ORLEANS, MA) – Gloriæ Dei Cantores, the internationally acclaimed choir from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, continues its 2013 25th Anniversary Celebration – a series of concerts illuminating choral treasures from rich cultural traditions around the globe – with concerts on Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13 at the Church of the Transfiguration, Orleans. The choir will perform Mozart’s stunning Mass in C Minor and Gabriel Fauré’s ethereal Requiem. Tickets are $35 ($30 Seniors and Free for students and under 18.) The choir’s collaborative ventures have included ten Holiday Tours with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Symphony Orchestra, sixteen-city US tour of Mozart’s Requiem with Philippe Entremont and the Munich Symphony Orchestra (Columbia Artists, CAMI, LLC), performances of Mozart’s Requiem with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic in Russia, and world premiere concerts and recordings with Grammy-award-winning artist Mark O’Connor.
