Leadership Cape Cod has opened applications for the 2020 Community Leadership Institute (CLI) program.  The program will run from January 8, 2020, with an Orientation dinner, through Commencement on June 9, 2020.  Sessions will run every other Thursday morning beginning January 9, 2020 through June 4, 2020.  The sessions will focus on the issues, challenges and opportunities in 11 key areas of life on Cape Cod.  Topics include Leadership, the Cape Economy, Media, Healthcare, Education, Environment, Government and Civic Engagement, Social Services, Legal and the Arts.  Additionally there will be a session customized to the interest of the class. Discussions will be led by regional leaders in the key topic areas allowing class participants to gain access to individuals working to solve the Cape’s most pressing issues. All participants are encouraged to think about their role in creating solutions to local and regional challenges and will be engaged in a community service project tailored to support an existing nonprofit. 

The CLI program has been educating individuals on the Cape for 27 years with over 700 alumni.  CLI alumni include local and state politicians, business and nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, health care professionals and members of the media.  Additional information can be found at www.lwadershipcapecod.org
