Save the Date for the Cape’s largest family-friendly dog festival – Paw Palooza – July 14 & 15!
Sponsor & Vendor Opportunities for local businesses
Dennis, MA – Save the date for the region’s largest, family-friendly dog festival! “Paw Palooza”, hosted and produced by The Agway of Cape Cod Charitable Foundation, will take place on July 14 and 15 on the grounds of Dennis Yarmouth High School.
Now in its third year, Paw Palooza has become the signature, summer event for dog lovers who live on or are visiting the Cape. In 2017, more than 10,000 people and hundreds of dogs attended the two-day festival. As a result, the Agway of Cape Cod Charitable Foundation donated $40,000 to the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Brewster shelter and the MSPCA shelter in Centerville ($20,000 to each).
There are numerous opportunities for businesses and organizations of all sizes to get involved in this year’s event. Vendor and sponsorship packages range from $150 – $3500 and allow businesses to have significant presence at the event, engage customers, and show their support for homeless and neglected animals in our community. Event organizers are also seeking raffle prizes and in-kind donations for certain services. Interested organizations can contact Amy Levine at [email protected] or 774-994-3623.
Paw Palooza will once again feature the thrilling action of an official DockDogs competition. The country’s fastest growing canine sport, DockDogs showcases dogs leaping into a 40-foot pool as they compete for distance, height and speed (novices welcome!). The massive festival will also include an Agility Show, K-9 demos from our local police departments, a Frisbee Dog Show, stunt dogs, a puppy pool pavilion, a “Doggie University” tent, a caricature artist, a “radar run” for dogs to test their speed, a raffle, a massive vendor fair with local and national companies, food trucks, a Kids Zone, and tons of unique activities for dogs and their families. Proceeds will benefit humane organizations on the Cape, including The Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Brewster shelter and the MSPCA’s shelter in Centerville.
