Centerville MA, June 7, 2013 – The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod will unveil the official painting for the 24th Annual Cape Cod Five Pops in the Park concert at the Orleans Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event on Wednesday, June 19 from 5:30-7:30pm at The Farm – W.B. Richardson Growers (40 Rock Creek Road, Orleans). The artwork commissioned from Cape Cod painter Elaine Coffee will be featured on the cover of the concert’s commemorative program book and auctioned at a reception and to benefit the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod later this summer.

A trio from the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra will provide musical entertainment at the unveiling and refreshments will be provided by The Beacon Room, The Yardarm Restaurant, Mahoney’s Atlantic and Rock Creek Oysters. Orleans Chamber members and non-members are welcome; there is a $10 suggested donation for this event.

Proceeds from the August 24th concert enable the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod to fulfill its mission to support and promote arts and culture on Cape Cod. In addition to its role as Barnstable County’s regional arts agency, the Arts Foundation awards grants and scholarships while supporting artistic, cultural, and educational programs throughout Cape Cod. Pops in the Park proceeds will allow expansion of AFCC’s work around the Lower and Outer Cape.
The Orleans Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours provide an opportunity for members and non-members to mingle and build business relationships in an informal, relaxed business setting.
