Grab your pooch and head to Orleans for the Third Annual “Paws for Celebration” onSaturday, June 22 from 11 AM – 3 PM. The annual event to benefit The Animal Rescue League’s Cape Cod branch in Brewster includes a pledge walk through downtown Orleans and pet-related activities, entertainment and vendors on the front lawn of Nauset Regional Middle School.

Among the activities planned are a Frisbee dog show, a police K9 demo, an agility demo, a doggie photo kissing booth, blueberry facials and other spa treatments for dogs, pupcasso art making (let your dog paint a picture), a caricature artist, face painting, shopping, free giveaways, a raffle (Red Sox tickets, restaurant gift cards, hotel stays and much more!), book signings, contests and much, much more.  Cool 102’s Joe Rossetti and John Taylor, and WCOD’s Stephanie Viva will emcee the festivities. The event is presented by Nauset Pet Services.

Lawn activities are free, but you can support the Animal Rescue League by registering online for the walk and collecting pledges from friends and family. Pledges can easily be set up and collected online at www.arlboston.org/pawsforcelebration.  All who register online will get a free event t-shirt and swag bag.  And there are great prizes for top fundraisers, including a year’s supply of dog food from Agway to the top fundraiser!
