The site of the former Nory’s Cards & Gifts has been fully renovated.

Rik and Caren Morse, owners of Zia Pizzeria & Café at Windmill Plaza at 210 Main Street in East Orleans, have opened Windmill Mercantile at the same location. The Morses purchased space adjoining Zia Pizzeria & Café, the site of the former Nory’s Cards & Gifts, and did an extensive renovation over the winter months. The Windmill Mercantile, which now adjoins Zia, offers Caren’s homemade pies and freshly-baked muffins, Beanstock coffee, newspapers, penny candy and various sundries such as toys and games, and locally-inspired t-shirts and hats.

The new space also adds outdoor dining on a terrace overlooking Main Street. The terrace has been professionally landscaped and offers patrons an al fresco option to read the morning paper over a cup of coffee and enjoy lunch or dinner with a cold beer or a glass of wine.
