Outer Cape Health Services (OCHS) announces the opening of its newest pharmacy in Harwich Port. The pharmacy is located inside OCHS’ new Harwich Port health center located on the ground floor of 710 Route 28, across from Brax Landing Restaurant.

The pharmacy is open to the public for all prescription and over-the-counter needs and provides personalized service, and accepts most insurances, including MassHealth and Health Safety Net. As a federally-qualified community health center, OCHS is able to provide accessible pharmacy services and affordable medications to patients, including lower cost medications to qualifying individuals and families.

Pharmacy services include new prescription fills, refill prescriptions, refill reminder calls and free domestic prescription mail service, in addition to immunizations and free consultations. OCHS pharmacists can easily transfer medications from a customer’s current pharmacy to OCHS pharmacies in Harwich Port, Wellfleet and Provincetown. The OCHS pharmacy team also works to optimize and reduce out-of-pocket prescription costs whenever possible.

The Harwich Port pharmacy hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm (8am to 5pm beginning June 20). The pharmacy is managed by pharmacist Jeffrey Onyeokoro who previously managed Outer Cape Health Services Wellfleet pharmacy. OCHS also welcomes nationally-certified registered pharmacy technicians Darin Perri and Samantha Borges.

In addition to pharmacy services, the Harwich Port health center offers patients a coordinated suite of patient-centered services in one location. Services include primary care, behavioral health, insurance enrollment assistance, a Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, a Quest Diagnostics lab, Community Resource Navigation and more.
