The Orleans Chamber of Commerce provided a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday April 19th to celebrate the grand opening of Hidden Gem.

Hidden Gem, the newest consignment shop in Orleans, specializes in antiques, primitives and small furniture along with local pottery and framed artwork. Unique collectibles may be found hidden amongst vintage utensils and old tools.

The shop is owned by Anne Kiefer whom many folks will recognize from her 10 year stint as manager of Lower Cape Outreach Council’s Hope Chest. She is joined in her venture by her former assistant Nancy Brown.

All profits from Hidden Gem will go to NAMI Cape Cod, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, to provide assistance for their local programming.
