We are into the summer planting season, and still before the longest day of the year. That means you can still plant peas, carrots, lettuces and many of the spring crops, along with your summer veggies, squash, tomatoes, pumpkins, cukes, beans, melons, and more.
Once we pass June 21, you need to add 2 weeks to the growing time, because everything is beginning to slow down with the shorter days.
Saturday Book Sales will continue throughout the winter from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting.
