Orleans is known for our proximity to water. There are lots of ways for visitors to enjoy water activities including whale watches, boat tours, fishing charters, kayak tours and sailing!
Blue Claw Boat Tours invites you join us as we explore the pristine bays, islands and inlets of Lower Cape Cod. We tour Pleasant Bay in Orleans to Chatham, Town Cove, the harbors of Wellfleet, Provincetown, Barnstable and Hyannis, as well as the Bass River. The boat leaves from Nauset Marine, 235 Main Street in East Orleans.
Cape Cod Bay Charter Fleet is a professional organization of charter boat captains and vessels whose goal is to provide superior fishing excursions for its clients. Fishing Cape Cod Bay April through October.

Join Dolphin Fleet New England’s First Whale Watch. Trips are departing daily so join us out on the water. On each trip we offer a great program for young and old guided by experienced naturalists. Remember not all whale watches are alike so get a local opinion.
Namequoit Sailing Association consists of a small but ample clubhouse, a dock, an active Junior and Adult sailing program, weekend racing series and we have a likeminded bunch of members who all have a good time messing around in sailboats. The association is a friendly, low key, family oriented sailing club.
The Pump House Surf Shop is a surf, skate and beach lifestyle shop located in Orleans. At the Pump House you’ll find quality surfboards, stand-up paddle boards, skimboards, bodyboards, skateboards, accessories, fashion and so much more.
The Orleans Yacht Club indeed encourages all aspects of sailing: the Club runs a very popular summer youth sailing program, it hosts its own DaySailer (Fleet 15) sailboat racing every Sunday on Town Cove, and offers an adult sailing course to its membership.
The Rock Harbor Charter Service consists of 14 fully equipped sportfishing charter boats that fish the waters of Cape Cod Bay for striped bass, bluefish, shark, and bluefin tuna from Rock Harbor, Orleans. We are New England’s largest charter fleet.
Come enjoy a day of fishing Cape Cod Bay aboard the Stunmai II with Captain Hap Farrell who specializes in landing striped bass and bluefish on light tackle. The Stunmai II fishes out of Rock Harbor, in Orleans, MA.

Located on the Outer Cape, Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary features 1,200 acres of salt marsh, pine woodlands, fields, and sandy beach, and our new green nature center boasts a large auditorium, laboratory, and dormitory for overnight stays. Staff expertise and areas of specialty for adult groups include shorebird natural history, turtle research, coastal ecology, geology of Cape Cod, and wildlife cruises.
