Mark your calendars! The Orleans Chamber of Commerce will host the 4th annual ClamBQ, The Orleans Food and Music Festival, on Saturday, September 26 from 11:30 AM – 6 PM. The expanded festival has outgrown its original location at Odd Fellow’s Hall and will be held on the field at Eldredge Park for the first time.
For the first time, ClamBQ will feature a craft show showcasing pottery, jewelry, fiber, glassware, food and other handcrafted items.
The day-long event will feature a traditional clambake dinner complete with steamers, lobster, corn and potatoes. The experts from Big Dog’s BBQ at The Orleans Bowling Center will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and special sides. In addition, a food court will feature fare from several local restaurants, and beer and wine will be available in The Cisco Brewery Beer and Wine Garden. The main stage will feature performances throughout the day by Sarah Swain and the Oh Boys, The Rip It Ups & Digney Fignus.
The festival also includes the craft show and free kids’ activities, including hay rides, face painting, inflatable games, crafts and corn hole.
Noelle Pina, Executive Director of the Orleans Chamber says “We are very excited to hold the ClamBQ at Eldredge Park. Everyone in Orleans has been very supportive and are thrilled to bring their family and friends to this year’s festival. We guarantee a great time for everyone!”
Tickets are $35 for the clambake dinner and $25 for the BBQ (both include admission to the event). General admission tickets are $10 (food and drinks not included) and kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at www.clambq.com or at the Orleans Chamber of Commerce on Main Street.
